Why can’t foreign users access the Kazakh business registry directly?
The official business register in Kazakhstan is accessible only to local individuals and legal entities, requiring a local identity card. However, we maintain a local presence, which allows us to obtain business data on behalf of our clients.
How does company search work on your platform?
Our own company search supports queries not only by registration number (BIN) (БИН - Бизнес-идентификационный номер), but also by taxpayer code or legal name. We maintain a database of over 800,000 legal entities and update it monthly for accuracy.
Which companies have publicly available financial data in Kazakhstan?
Public financial statements are available only for Joint-stock companies (about 2,500 entities) via the government portal. Limited liability companies (LLCs) keep their financial data private.
What alternative data do you use for LLCs?
For LLCs, we verify negative information including bankruptcies, litigation, tax debts, and unreliable taxpayer status. We also estimate turnover and profit using tax payment data.
What data sources are included in a Full Credit Report?
We collect data from a broad range of official and internal sources, including:
- Business registration, activity, shareholders, managers, branches, subsidiaries, encumbrances — via eGov.kz
- Trademarks and licenses — via national IP office and eGov.kz
- Director relations, registration history, foreign relationships of managers and shareholders — via our internal database
- Paid taxes, export/import data — via State Revenue Committee
- Stock exchange listings — via Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
- Employee numbers — via Ministry of Statistics
- Bankruptcy, court cases, financial elements — via local courts, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice
- Credit opinions, sanctions checks, economic forecasts — via our internal systems
How often is the data updated?
Our core database used for company and relationship searches is updated monthly. However, when preparing a Credit Report (Full Report), we collect all information in real time from the business registry, local courts, and various other official sources to ensure that each report reflects the most accurate and up-to-date information available.
